Primary Medical Care Services
- *Tender now expired*

NHS Brent

NHS Brent delivers primary care services to a diverse and expanding population of over 350,000 people, from a wide cultural spectrum, with a broad range of heath needs. NHS Brent is moving its primary care strategy forward to meet the needs of its residents and as such is calling for Expressions of Interest for the provision of three established GP Practices and related services.

As part of improving the future of health care in Brent, the provider arm of NHS Brent feels it is no longer appropriate to manage GP services as part of its core business.  The primary care market has now sufficiently developed that other primary care providers are also willing to provide this service and can offer higher quality outcomes and better value for money.

Please find below the advertisement for NHS Brent and the memorandum of information for three existing GP practices. The Equality Impact Assessment and Engagement Strategy for this Project will follow shortly. Interested providers are asked to note that NHS Brent has identified a number of errors in the versions of the advert and the Memorandum of Information  that were posted on this website prior to 9th November 2009. These errors have been corrected and the updated versions of the documents are available below. You are asked to note that the latest versions of these documents have the text, “DOCUMENT ISSUE DATE: 9 NOVEMBER 2009” at the top of each page.

Please note that an NHS Brent bidder event will be held on FRIDAY 11 DECEMBER 2008 and not SATURDAY 12 DECEMBER 2008 as previously indicated on this website and within earlier versions of the tender advert and documentation. The venue will be confirmed closer to the date.

Suitable service providers are invited to express interest for one or more of these schemes. NHS Brent is more than happy to answer any questions or queries and these should be directed to
