Dr Prasad is a GP practicing in Willesden. He has been co- Chair of the PEC (Professional Executive Committee) since October 2007 having previously been a PEC member. He is also a GP trainer and programme director for the Central Middlesex Hospital Vocational Training Scheme.
The role of the PEC is to provide a professional viewpoint on the strategy and operations of the PCT. He strongly believes that having good clinical engagement is vital to the organisation meeting its corporate objectives.

“My job is Assistant Director Community Care. I have responsibility for adult community care commissioning and services including older people, learning disability, physical disability and mental health.
My role is to develop partnership working to ensure links are made with children’s and other local authority services. We have developed innovative integrated services with Health partners to improve mental health services and those for people with learning disabilities.
Quality of services are also a key concern to ensure they reflect the needs of Brent's diverse community.”

Devendra qualified locally from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, now a part of Imperial College. After a brief spell in hospital surgery he found his true vocation in General Practice qualifying on the West Middlesex University Training Scheme and taking up his current post as partner at The Fryent Way Surgery in February 2000. As well as running a busy practice, Devendra is a GP trainer on the Central Middlesex Hospital Vocational Training Scheme and a GP appraiser for the Brent tPCT
Devendra believes that ‘by forming strong partnerships and local networks within the community we can all work together with a common interest to improve local health services and deliver effective patient centred care fit for the 21st century and for the whole of our diverse Brent community’.

Charlie Roe has worked for 6 years in Brent tPCT as a health visitor in Harlesden. His work in the NHS has found him a variety of settings from nursing in hospital to community and in nursing education.
Charlie came back to health visiting becasue of his interest in Sure Start and public involvement in the NHS. Previous to Brent he had been a chief officer of Hillingdon Community Health Council.

"I live in Brent and have worked as a GP principal with a list in Brent for 12 years providing a full range of GMS services and also acupuncture before leaving a partnership and setting up in summer 2007 as a sessional/locum GP. I also work as a GPwSI in dermatology for Brent PCT.
I hope within the PEC to use my skills and interests in promoting cost-effective, evidence-based clinical care to the residents of Brent".

I qualified from Leicester School of pharmacy in 1991. I am a pharmacy proprietor. As well as running the pharmacies I am working to establish practice based commissioning in the Wembley locality. I strongly believe in forging close links with all local stakeholders in providing health solutions which cater to the needs of the Brent population.
